Privacy Policy

Effective October 28, 2026. Strategic Mind runs Cabinet Pros ("we", "our") and is responsible for the personal information of its website visitors and customers under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and when we delete it.

Information you give us. We ask only for the details needed to answer your request. When you price your cabinets, save an estimate, book a home visit, or sign in, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, street address, city, postal code, preferred visit time, the details of your project, and your estimator answers.

Calls and texts. When you call or text us, or we call or text you, your customer record keeps both phone numbers, the time, how long the call lasted, and each text message with any picture sent in it. Only voicemail is recorded: if nobody answers, a greeting asks you to leave a message after the tone, and our staff can play your voicemail back. Live calls are not recorded.

Information collected automatically. Our website records how it is used:

• Each page you open, the page or website that sent you there, and how long you stay
• How far down each page you scroll
• Each link you click, including phone, text, and email links
• Each estimate you get, form you send, and booking you make, recorded by type and time without what you entered
• How fast each page loads, and errors in pages, scripts, and requests
• Your IP address, and the approximate location (country, province or state, and city) and internet provider it points to
• Your browser and its version, device type, screen and window size, screen sharpness, processor core count, touch support, connection speed, language, and time zone
• Return visits from the same browser, through a cookie ID

It records no mouse movements, keystrokes, or replays of your screen.

We use this information to keep your saved estimates, book and prepare for your home visit, send your quote and booking confirmation, follow up with you by email, phone, or text, run and improve our website, learn which of our marketing brings in customers, and find and fix technical problems. When you send a form, we store it with your browser's cookie ID (see Cookies below), which links your earlier and later visits from that browser to your request.

Our website sets one first-party cookie when you visit a page. It holds a random ID, kept for 12 months, that keeps your estimator answers as you move between pages and links the website activity above to one browser across visits. It holds no name or contact details. When you sign in to see your quotes, a second cookie keeps you signed in on that device for 30 days. We use no third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

You can delete or block these cookies in your browser's settings, or use a private window. Your forms still work, and your visits are no longer linked to each other. Our servers still record each page request. Our website has no separate setting to turn this collection off.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. When you call, text, or email, we answer you until we know your postal code. Once we know it, we share what you gave us for your request with the cabinet maker who serves your area, so it can answer you directly: it returns your call or text, replies to your email, and books and makes your home visit. What it receives depends on your request, such as your name, phone number, email address, street address, project details, and saved estimates. Your quote names that cabinet maker. Once you hire it, the cabinet maker is responsible for the personal information it keeps for your job.

We also use outside providers for cloud hosting and storage, email and calendar, phone calls and texts, and notices to staff phones, who must protect your information. These providers store and process it in the United States, where the law can require them to give it to authorities there. We may also disclose your information where the law requires, or to protect the rights and safety of Strategic Mind or others.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for. Our website and customer records then delete it automatically:

• Website activity, including IP addresses and estimator answers: 13 months.
• Messages, bookings, calls, texts, voicemails, and emails: 3 years after the last update.
• Quotes, payment records, and job records: 7 years after the last update, to meet Canada Revenue Agency record-keeping rules.
• Error logs from our servers: 7 days.

Deletion runs within a few days of each date above, and covers our website and customer records only. Copies held elsewhere stay until their holder deletes them:

• Emails and calendar bookings stay in each inbox and calendar that sent or received them, including yours, until its owner deletes them.
• Your cabinet maker keeps its own copies of what we shared, and deletes them under its own record-keeping.
• Our email, calendar, phone, and text providers may keep their own copies for a time their own policies set.

We protect your personal information with reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), encrypted storage, and access limited to approved staff accounts. Each sign-in link we email you works once and expires 15 minutes after it is sent. Nothing sent over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee perfect security.

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use, within any legal or contract limits. If you are not happy with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca.

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page is the date of the latest change. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated policy.
