Terms and Conditions

Effective October 28, 2026. These terms cover your use of Cabinet Pros, which Strategic Mind runs: online estimates and quotes, your final quote, who you contract with for the work, your payment schedule, your account, and how disputes are settled.

• Your estimate prices one room from your answers. It uses the prices dated on its page. It is a price for planning, not a final price or an offer to do the work.
• Your quote adds up the estimates you save. It lists each item on its own line. It is a budget for planning, not an offer to do the work.
• Your final quote is your cabinet maker's written offer. After your home visit, and once you choose your materials, your cabinet maker emails your final quote. It states your confirmed design, materials and price, each item on its own line, and the date its price holds until.
• Your final quote sets your price for the work it lists. Your price changes only through a written change order you sign before that work starts. A change order covers a design change you ask for, or rework so built cabinets fit something your approved design did not include. Your cabinet maker fixes its own measuring or building mistakes at no cost to you. A licensed contractor, plumber or electrician you choose repairs any wall, floor, plumbing or electrical problem found during the work and charges you directly, outside your final quote.

• Your contract is with your cabinet maker. The Cabinet Pros cabinet maker who serves your area visits your home, writes your final quote, and builds and installs your cabinets. Your quote names that cabinet maker, and you place your order with it. Strategic Mind is not a party to that contract.
• Your cabinet maker is responsible for the work, including its measurements, its installation, the cabinets working as designed, its workers, its warranty, and the payments you make to it. Every cabinet maker meets our standards before joining.
• Your cabinet maker provides your 5-year written warranty with your final quote, so you can read it before you order. That document states the coverage, the exclusions and how you request service, and your cabinet maker honours it.

You pay a deposit when you place your order, then each payment when the step it names is done.

• Your cabinets are built to order. Your cabinet maker starts building them when you place your order, to your measurements, and they cannot be resold to anyone else. Your deposit buys your materials, and your second payment covers building them.
• If you cancel your order, your deposit is not refunded and no later payment is due. Before you place your order, you can stop at any time and owe nothing. Your final quote states this term.
• Your cabinets are delivered when every cabinet box, door and drawer front on your final quote arrives at your home. A countertop, hardware or panel that arrives later does not delay this payment.
• Your last payment waits for your final walkthrough. Your cabinet maker installs everything on your final quote, countertop included, then checks the work with you and fixes anything you list before you pay.

The payment schedule is 40% when you place your order, 50% when your cabinets are delivered, and the remaining 10% after the final walkthrough. Your final quote shows the amount due at each stage.

• You sign in with a link we email you. Each link works once and expires 15 minutes after it is sent. Anyone who can open your email can sign in, so keep your email account secure.
• Give accurate details. Your cabinet maker prepares for your home visit from the address and project details you enter.

• AI-generated images on this website are illustrations.
• Keep the website working for everyone. Do not send false bookings, automated requests, or anything that disrupts the website.

• Your personal information is handled under Canada's PIPEDA privacy law. See Privacy Policy.
• Ontario law governs these terms, along with the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
• Your cabinet maker settles any dispute about your cabinets. A dispute about your work, your payments or your warranty is between you and your cabinet maker, under the contract you sign with it.
• Strategic Mind settles any dispute about this website, your account or your privacy, in 3 steps. You first raise the dispute with us in writing, and we try to settle it directly within 30 days. If that fails, either side may send it to mediation in Toronto, with the mediator's fee split equally. If mediation does not settle it within 60 days, the courts of Ontario sitting in Toronto decide it.

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page is the date of the latest change. A change never alters a quote or contract you have already received.
